Welcome to the official site of the Iberia Performing Arts League
The Iberia Performing Arts League, also known as IPAL, is a community theater organization based in New Iberia, Louisiana. Its mission is to promote live theater in New Iberia and to enhance the community. It generally offers four major productions per season as well as other special productions.
On this site you can read about the history of IPAL and its home, the Essanee Theater. You can also check for upcoming events including plays and auditions. IPAL also offers acting classes for New Iberia's youth. You can find information on enrolling in these classes at this site also.
IPAL depends on your donations to stay alive. This site also provides a donation form for you to send your donation. IPAL is a 501(c) non-profit organization. In donating you help to support the arts in New Iberia. Please consider a donation to help keep the Essanee doors open. If you want to get involved beyond donations we suggest volunteering or sponsoring a play.
Our performances are well executed and a great way to spend an evening. You can find information on tickets at this site as well. Season tickets are also available. Our plays are at the historic Essanee theater in beautiful downtown New Iberia.
