The Iberia Performing Arts League, also known as IPAL, is a community theater organization based in New Iberia, Louisiana. It generally offers five major productions per season, a summer youth play or activity, and occasionally other special activities.
Click here to get the Season Ticket Order Form, order individual tickets, and read about the history of IPAL and its home, the Essanee Theater.
IPAL depends on our community to stay alive. If you want to get involved we suggest volunteering. There are many jobs involved in theater other than acting! Backstage crew, costumers, make-up artists, and light and sound crews all make a show go! We also are always on the lookout for sponsors for our shows. .This site also provides a donation form for you to become a MEMBER of IPAL at various levels . IPAL is a 501(c) non-profit organization and donations are tax free.
Our performances are well executed and a great way to spend an evening. Season tickets are available. Our plays are at the historic Essanee theater in beautiful downtown New Iberia.
You can also check out the latest IPAL news and photos here, as well as contact us.
